Jenny Quintana grew up in Essex and Berkshire. She studied English Literature at Queen Mary in London and then did a PGCE in secondary English at Goldsmiths. She taught in East London before going abroad to teach English as a Foreign Language in Seville and Athens. She then worked as an ELT author before writing her first novel The Missing Girl (2017) which became a Waterstones book of the month. Jenny then went on to write Our Dark Secret (2020) and The Hiding Place (2021). She lives with her family in Berkshire and is writing her fourth novel.
