Jason Forbis lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina. His love of the West was born during a youth trip that looped from Texas and up to South Dakota. As an author of a number of novels in various genres, his Westerns grew from that love of the West, his curiosity about history, and the desire to write unique characters and interesting plots that will keep the reader riveted and entertained. The new series entitled "Chasing Spirits" will be an ongoing and ever-growing collection of Western novels set in a time of an eruption of magic in the old West. These novels will be an ongoing series for years to come. There are also "Weird West" Role Playing Game modules based on the novels available at DrivethruRPG. “The West presents an open canvas to construct a story and a rich legacy of so many authors that have gone before. I write from the shoulders of giants and hope that my stories take you on a journey and capture your imagination.” In addition to his work writing, he is also known for his audiobook narrations. He has worked closely with Rabbi Mordecai Schreiber and has narrated his books on the meaning and power of prayer and his fiction novel The Sage.
