She adores dog stories—but can’t bear the nobody-wants-the-dog scenes that must be endured before the happy ending. She also had a captivating story to tell that is based on real and heartfelt events. So, she wrote LONG NOSE LEGACY, a fictional novel (without the unbearable scenes) about the good sort of dogs and the people who cherish them. She is an award-winning author, designer, art director, media and theatre producer, member of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators, the Dog Writers Association of America, Audio Publishers Association, and Independent Book Publishers Association. She lives on the California coast with her husband and their two show Borzoi, who are related to Carnegie and Madison who inspired LONG NOSE LEGACY.
