J. A. Maverick is a husband, father of three and a man of many paths in life. He started out with a Culinary degree and worked in the restaurant world for years before getting involved in marketing. After a decade of learning about printing and marketing, he went back to his culinary roots and became a Certified Nutrition Coach, and a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine. He enjoys martial arts (Okinawan Karate for 35+ years), swimming, video games such as Final Fantasy 14, comic books and anime. Becoming an author was not something he expected to pursue, but it's a hobby that keeps him excited. His debut book, Reborn, is an award-winning novel that is set to be given a televised rendition.
