Mild-mannered prose writer by day, fierce poetry writer by night... You can find some of her poetry on a Catholic website for articles and poetry. Since 2003, Geraldine "Geri" Guadagno, has been studying and developing her craft through coursework, conferences and workshops, including those of the Highlights Foundation, the Institute for Writers, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Her publications include two religious picture books, a spiritual guide and a biography for adults, and one biography for ages 10 to 16. Geri has also written and published magazine stories and articles, as well as some poetry. A cradle Catholic, she was not too surprised to find that God was inspiring her to write about him, his saints and his blesseds. She hopes to enjoy this honor and privilege for many more years to come. Some of her books are also being sold in the U.K. and Australia. Geri has been interviewed on The Son Rise Morning Show (EWTN radio), CTSA (San Antonio Archdiocese TV station), KJMA 89.7 (Guadalupe Radio Network, South Texas) and podcasts. She is also a member of the Catholic Writers Guild. Geri lives in the Texas Hill Country with her family and dog. (Alas, no elephants.)
