The author was born in the southwest of Germany in 1965. She was raised there and still lives there with her family. She started to write novels, when her eldest son required special medical attention due to multiple disabilities. The first storybook by G. C. J. Couillez, entitled "Die Taten des tapferen Ritters Bruno", was initially written for domestic use only. More stories followed and from 2003 on were published one after the other. The author herself enjoys to present these stories at medieval festivals wearing in costume. A few years ago, the author of those very extraordinary storybooks for children has moved on to writing historical novels for adults. In the summer of 2011, the first part of the series "Die Frucht des Ölbaums“ (The Fruit of the oiltree) was published by the Action-Verlag as an audiobook. The second part then was published in 2012. The series is now also available as an E-book The first book of the series was published with the title "The Heretic" in mid January 2012 followed by the second book, entitled "The Crusader", in May 2012. Since the beginning of 2013, fans of the printed version can also look forward to a "real" book being published by the Verlag 3.0 . Further historical writing projects are in the works. The author : "The written word should serve to give something to mankind, to touch the soul and connect each other!"
