www.mad-manor.de Edda McColgan, born and bred 1964 in Germanys largest City, the Ruhr Valley, spent the first half of her life looking after animals and kids. After finishing her degree in veterinary medicine in Berlin she moved to various places in Germany and Great Britain, following jobs. Finally in 1999 she settled with her family in a small village in the Palatinate Forest, a perfect place for work and rest. As a former frequent reader she always wanted to write herself. In 2019 she finally managed to start her first crime novel. The first book was mainly written to practise, before the second crime story took shape in 2020. This book had been waiting in line for over ten years to be written, after the author experienced the presence of this story in the black forest herself. Apart from writing storys she loves singing, sauna and spontaneous travels with her camper van.
