Wanda Walborn is the founder and director of Empower, a developmental program for women created to deepen their walk with God and expand their gifts and calling. Wanda is a respected and sought out teacher because of the depth of her personal walk with God. Her first book, Spiritual Journey, is an overflow of 30 years of pointing others to Jesus. Wanda has been married to Ron for 36 years, has 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Raised in northern Maine, Wanda loves the outdoors, running, hiking the Camino, reading and good coffee. Wanda has served in many positions over the years as church planter, Director of Spiritual Formation at Nyack College and currently works as Associate Professor of Spiritual Formation at Alliance Theological Seminary in New York City.
