Who is Denice Holt? Good question. I’m a writer, mother, partner, lover, and wife. Whew! I love to cook. I’m a sucker for Kir Royales. And I am blessed to enjoy the company of a good man and three precocious boys. I keep a watchful eye on the future, but I strive to enjoy the little moments in life as they go by every day. Though I am still a small-town girl at heart, I have lived a reasonably big-city life. I’ve learned a lot of things along the way that I should know…and a few that I probably shouldn’t. Advice for young parents? Hug and kiss your kids every chance you get because you will blink and they will think it’s gross. Advice for young couples? Don’t let the distractions of life—kids, work, money—cause you to lose who you are as a couple. Date through it all! If you were ever madly in love, you can be again. Advice for young lovers? Don’t be afraid to venture out on the ledge a bit. It will make you sad to find out when you’re eighty that nipple clamps were your jam all along. 😊 Oh yeah, and then there is my writing. I love relationships. I love happy relationships. I also happen to love sex. So, I write what I love.
