Davina Rush was born in Northwest Florida and now resides there, surrounded by family. She loves to travel and has explored many fascinating and strange places across the country, collecting inspiration for her stories through her adventures and personal experience. She also enjoys reading, visiting abandoned and historic places, open air markets, and art of all kinds. She has written and illustrated a handful of educational Coloring books, but her greatest passion is writing Southern Gothic Fiction with a flare for the supernatural. Her biggest literary influences have been Lewis Carroll, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, Susan Hill, Tony Hillerman, Alice Hoffman and Marion Zimmer Bradley.
