A career opera singer and passionate traveler, Toronto native Dan Chamandy, Dipl. is an emerging writer of note, having earned a total of 18 awards and accolades combined for his screenplay Bombecker Raceway, including having been picked for the 2013 Rome Movie Awards and Chicago Screenplay Awards (Short Script); but also having won first place in several other film awards and festivals. What Are You Waiting For? is his 2023 debut as a published writer of non-fiction, drawing inspiration from his own experiences over a lifetime and observations from his travels. Three Emeralds is his 2023 debut as a novelist, the first of a series, in the international crime thriller genre. Whether on stage or at the writing desk, Chamandy's creativity and passion for storytelling shine through in all of his work. He currently resides in Vienna.
