Clayton Trier is the author of The Outskirts of Redemption, his first novel. He was raised in southeast Texas, where this story takes place, and he’s proud to call Texas his home. Clayton enjoys listening to rock & roll music from the 60s, 70s & 80s and raising a glass of wine and making savory memories with good friends and family. He is a successful businessman and entrepreneur, a previous winner of Houston’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. Clayton serves on boards of several not-for-profit entities and is dedicated to giving back, supporting good causes in his community. But writing has always been a passion. He hopes that readers will enjoy and be moved by The Outskirts of Redemption, a timeless coming-of-age story set in the Sixties & Seventies that deals with a topic—a crisis—that’s highly relevant today: the confusion, grief and guilt that adolescent and young adult suicide inflicts on the impressionable young friends of the victim.
