Carrie Klewin Lawrence (she/her) is a dynamic and collaborative international stage director focused on social change. As a storytelling strategist, Carrie helps people solve problems with storytelling. From stories on stage to signature speeches, TED talks, social media content, and personal branding, no story is too small or insignificant in the pursuit of success. Focusing on the connection between the audience and the storyteller, Carrie adeptly assists clients in clarifying their goals and developing targeted strategies for success. As the author of Origin Story, Carrie weaves personal discovery storytelling into a journey of action and evolution, encouraging readers to control their(self) narrative. Once, when she was ten years old, Carrie wrote a play called "Little Red Riding Hood Says NO to Smoking". Rediscovering that play and subsequently reframing her own personal narrative was the inciting incident for writing Origin Story. Carrie is also an acting coach, professor, personal branding coach, and mother of three, who loves traveling, photography, and dancing lindy hop.
