Cait Lamberton is the Alberto I Duran Professor of Marketing at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Her research has spanned a wide range of topics, from retail assortment size and structure to consumers' response to taxes and ways to reduce food waste, with her newest work focusing on ways in which experiences can be designed to affirm dignity. Other recent roles have included her work as co-editor of the Journal of Marketing as well as co-founder of the Center for Empirical Philosophy and Behavioral Insights, an organization focused on integrating philosophical thought and approaches into marketing and related disciplines. Beyond her academic pursuits, Cait has been retained as a consultant by major corporations in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries, as well as the US Departments of Labor and Education. She holds an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Wheaton College (IL), an MBA and Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina, and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Lucerne.
