Award-winning writer, actress, director, and producer Bever-leigh Banfield is an accomplished storyteller on television, in movies, onstage, and on the page. Her writings include magazine articles and celebrity interviews, and with an M.F.A. from the Yale University School of Drama and a B.A. from Stanford, she has performed in productions from sitcoms to Shakespeare and is often recognized as author Alex Haley's ancestor, Cynthia, in Roots: The Next Generations and T.C., the plumber's helper, on Good Times. Bever-leigh loves to read, paint, design, bake, and walk at the beach (really!).
