Dear readers, there is no denying that there is only one real main character in all my Mallorca thrillers: the island of Mallorca. For me, the island is a dream, especially early in the year, when the first green covers the meadows, flowers paint yellow lights and the occasional almond tree is still in bloom. The sea glows blue... Admittedly, Mallorca has potential for addiction at any time of the year. And that also applies to the tango. It's more than a dance. And is therefore ideal for my new Mallorca thriller. I ask you: do you love tango? Kapka Kassabova claims in her book: Twelve Minutes of Love - A Tango Story: Tango is a big problem with a 24-hour soundtrack. If you don't currently have any problems, romantic, existential, financial or otherwise, the tango will remind you that sooner or later they will arise. The good news is that tango makes trouble exciting. I don't dance tango myself, but I got in touch with tango long before I thought about writing novels. More precisely with the tango music. Yes, I was lucky enough to see Astor Piazzolla live on stage. Once, close to fainting, extremely dramatic even almost in Sanka. But this is another story. Later, a good friend introduced me to tango dancing. He fell in love with tango and now organizes tango events in Marienbad. Dear reader, to encourage you to take a short break from reading and listen to a tango, I have included some of the titles of the tango pieces in the novel in italics. I hope you enjoy reading the second adventure of my Munich detective Anna Solero. Do you turn the pages of a book or a child in a deckchair on the beach and look at the sea from time to time? I envy them. But it's also cozy at home on the couch, dreaming of a holiday in Malle. About me: I grew up in Berlin, lived in Munich for many years - with stops in Constance and Australia - and now live in the idyllic spa town of Bad Orb. My website: www.barbaraludwig.de. You can also find me on facebook. I have another passion for Venice: Under the pseudonym Cara Ludovica you can immerse yourself in the Venice of the Renaissance: the courtesan of Venice - Veronica Franco. A historical novel in three volumes about a grandiose woman of her time. And something else is new: ten hours of listening pleasure: Do you love Chopin? The actor Rüdiger Hauffe takes you with his sonorous and pleasant voice to Mallorca and into the world of Chopin. A listening pleasure of the special class. Sorry, only in German.
