Ashley A. Pallathra, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and co-author of Missing Each Other: How to Cultivate Meaningful Connections. She is passionate about sharing evidence-based insights into social communication, relationship skills, and mental wellness with the wider public. Dr. Pallathra has authored articles for popular media publications (e.g., Psychology Today, Medium, Harvard Business Review Magazine, Fast Company) and published research findings in peer-reviewed journals. She has shared her work on multiple podcasts and been quoted by media sources such as Forbes and Men’s Health. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree with Distinction in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, she received a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Currently, she provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults and her expertise lies in addressing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, depression, early childhood disruptive behaviors, body-focused repetitive behaviors, tics, and trauma.
