Ashley Akers was born in Farmington, MO in 1983. She is married to Scott and have three amazing children: Tyler, his wife Chloe, and Mikella, residing in small-town Potosi, MO. Currently, I am a full time Funeral Director, serving along people who are passionate for the LORD and sharing hope to every family that we serve. Life is literally but a vapor—you are here, then you aren’t. I enjoy serving in any capacity of ministry however the LORD leads. My life is His, not my own. The LORD has led me in so many ministry capacities through the years, and I’ve been blessed to have been able to serve as a Sunday school teacher, a leader in ministry programs, a musician, a designer aiding Nonprofits, a website designer, and everything else in between! I am also a co-founder of SHINE the Conference, where young women can come together and learn about their LORD and Savior, Jesus. In life, I have been many things; a licensed Funeral Director, a Realtor, an Accountant, and a Mother. However, above everything, I am a follower of Jesus Christ, my Savior, Redeemer, LORD, Creator, and the King of Kings. Ministry and sharing the gospel of Jesus are my passion. More of Him, less of me.
