Anthony Pignataro has been a writer and journalist for nearly three decades. Today he works as an editor at the local news co-op Long Beach Watchdog. His most recent novels are The B Girls, about women who work at a chaotic bikini bar in Orange County, California; Maui Daze, a novel about a particularly rough day at a struggling newspaper on Maui; and Remembering Lahaina, a memoir of the 12 years he worked as a journalist on Maui. His previous novels Small Island, The Dead Season and Pau Hana Time, which deal with a bartender who plays detective on Maui, were published by Event Horizon Press, as was Stealing Cars with the Pros, a collection of his journalism. He lives in Long Beach, California with his girlfriend Angie and their cats Gromit and Wallace.
