I have always loved writing. When I was at primary school I won the poetry prize in the Manchester Evening News competition and that set me off! When I was a police officer most of my writing involved details of the people I was arresting and the crimes they were committing in that same city. Now having been all over the country and having visited various nations I find myself back in my home city having found my way back to God via a life transforming encounter and adventurous relationship with Jesus Christ - leading a fast growing network of churches called Ivy - recently featured in a six page very positive spread in The Independent. I lead a movement called NewThingEurope which is helping plant new hundreds of C21st reproducing churches across Western Europe. I also teach leadership via Westminster Theological Centre (check them out - accredited by Chester University) I blog at anthonydelaney.com and write for SORTED men's magazine and feature on UCB radio every week and BBC Radio (5 Live or 4) occasionally I'm married with three mostly grown up kids and three wonderful grandkids I like to get to the gym and swim most days. One day I'll hope to have at least one crime novel on here, but in the meantime I write about the difference practical faith makes in a problematic world.
