Andrea Salzman lives in a yellow house on a Zephyr Hill in East Tennessee. She is primarily motivated by children who need food and by coffee that needs creamer. In 2021, Andrea was awarded funding though Vela Educational Fund to create methods to share the delights of homeschooling with the world at large. She created a project called HOEP (Hands-On Entrepreneurship Projects) for Homeschoolers which led to the creation of the Bedtime STEM Books series. Andrea has served for many years as a Homeschool 101 ambassador for Tennessee, and a Foundations tutor for a classical education group in Oak Ridge. Her first book, Homeschool PJ Time: A Bedtime STEM Book, is based loosely on her own family's experiences homeschooling through the lens of CC Cycle 2.
