AMY NEMECEK is a Pushcart Prize nominee whose poetry has been featured in numerous journals and anthologies, including Presence, Relief, Windhover, and St. Katherine Review. She was awarded the 2021 Paraclete Poetry Prize for The Language of the Birds, which is her first published collection. Amy lives in West Michigan with her husband, their adult son, and two cats. When she isn’t crafting words, she enjoys traveling to new places with her family and taking long walks in nature.
