About this listen

A twisted dance of darkness and desire...

I waged war for our freedom. Risked everything to protect those I loved. Yet love's embrace turned ravenous, consuming me whole.

Imprisoned for an agonising two years, I was a pawn in my father's twisted game. He made me a weapon to be wielded against those I held dear. Now, I'm free. But freedom has only hurled me from one hell into another. Ivan and the tyrant Fae King are shattering the fragile harmony between Fae and monsters. Ancient abominations are crawling back into existence, painting the world crimson with blood and despair. All eyes are on me, the reluctant queen, to fix it all. But I'm fighting my own monsters. My two Bonded Mates betrayed me, broke my heart and abandoned me to a fate worse than death. How can I fix anything when they've left me so broken?

The allure of vengeance pulls me closer, threatening to consume my soul. But as secrets are revealed and the truth becomes clear, boundaries blur between virtue and vice, righteousness and sin, and hero and villain. For freedom, I must trust those who were once my enemy and forgive the unforgivable. It dawns on me, with chilling clarity, that I may not be the hero of this story after all. Wrath of the Fae is book three and the final instalment in "The Stolen Fae series". It's a dark fantasy romance full of magic, danger, passion, and pain.

Please Note: This is a reverse harem book containing explicit content and darker elements. For full trigger warnings, see author's website.

Fantastic conclusion

I have read this book before so knew what to expect from the story, but to hear it brought to life by Amy Putt’s wonderful narration was very much the icing on the cake. I love M. J. Lawrie’s writing. Her characters have such distinctive voices that they pull you right into the story with them and don’t let go until you reach the final full stop. Love it!

Wrath Of The Fae - Audio Arc Review

Author- M.J. Lawrie
Narrator- Amy Putt

This is the third and final book in the series.
It follows Raven on her dark and thrilling journey on saving the the fae and the human kind, along with Raven finally finding who she really is and who she was destined to be.

There are twists and turns that I did not expect and was refreshing not to be listening to something that was predictable. The story line in this book was a little slow to begin with but quickly picked up pace.

I really loved the MMC's and the way they cared for Raven. I loved how they were so possessive over her and wanted to keep her grounded and not let her forget who she really is to them or to herself.

Raven is a strong headed character, fierce and just a bad ass women . Sometimes I found she could come across a little too strong and very angry alot of the time. I totally understand as she has been through so much trauma and pain but it would have been nice just to see her sensitive side a bit more. I am not sure if this was how Raven was supposed to be read or if the narrator chose to make her this way.

I have to say my favourite character was Tessa! I really warmed to her in this book and loved how she was there for Raven even after the trauma she endured.

The plot was good and flowed nicely, sometimes it got a little slow but picked up quickly and didn't drag on. The twist were a refreshing turn and I enjoyed being kept on my toes of not knowing what was going to happen and I had a fair few shocked face moment.

The narrator, did an amazing job in telling the story. I love how she is able to differentiate between the characters so we are able to tell them apart.
she read the story at an easy pace that flowed nicely. Amy gave each character life and made you feel so many different emotions towards each one.

This book is deliciously dark and full of trauma and triggers so please read trigger page before heading in!

My overall star rating is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(4 star)
spice level I rate it a 🌶🌶1/2 (2 1/2)

Amazing!

Wow, what an ending to this series! I was hooked from the first page. This was an amazing rollercoaster of a ride, my emotions were all over the place. I actually cried at certain parts. There were so many twists and turns throughout the book! I didn’t know what direction it was going in, but I was happy to just keep reading/listening and see where the story took me. The ending was totally unexpected, but actually perfect once you read it. This is hands down the best series I have read in a long time. The audio version was also amazing, with the narrators yet again doing an excellent job. Their portrayal of the characters was so good, that I actually felt that I related to them all. This is a must read for those who enjoy dark fantasy stories, although I must admit some of the scenes were quite horrific, but fitted in with the storyline perfectly. I would give this book 10 stars if I could 🙂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
