About this listen
Loved. Protected. Shattered.
Clover has found love with not one man, but four. He never imagined such a relationship could work, let alone that he’d be at the center of it, but a year later, his bond with the four mercenaries is stronger than ever.
Each man in Clover’s life completes him in a whole different way. Where Drake teaches him shibari, Boar always showers him with cuddles. Where Tank is strict and protective, Pyro takes Clover on wild adventures.
To truly become a part of the mercenary crew, Clover chose to train under the guidance of his men. He’s itching for action to prove to himself and to others that he can handle the toughest jobs.
But through violence and mayhem, Clover will be tried in ways he never wished for. Old enemies resurface, bonds are tested, and one wrong move can mean death.
Their Obsession is a dark gay harem contemporary romance, book two in the Four Mercenaries trilogy. The story contains scenes of explicit violence, offensive language, morally ambiguous characters, and lots of scorching hot, emotional, explicit scenes.

OM*G! Insane, Intense, and so much more!!!

🔥🔥🔥 Heat Level: 3.5 (dubious content, violence and a hell of a cliffhanger!)

OM*G! Insane, Intense, Intriguing and a lethal cliffhanger to boot!
This book sort of carried on from bok one in terms of the characters and a surprise continuation of the dangers from book one.
I loved seeing how all the characters have adapted to their new normal and adapted to Clover’s presence. I feel this book contained a lot of growth and eventuated in a lot more backstory to some of the Mercenaries, especially the mysterious Drake.
I felt this book was more graphically (and sexually, be warned) violent than book one and contains some very dark, dubious and serious issues. I feel Kat and Ange approached all these events really well and didn’t shy away from the truth and harsh realities of this dark and dangerous world. While there are some very challenging scenes in this book I felt it fits perfectly within the story and I am interested to see the repercussions, reality, and truths of what will happen to ALL these characters next.
This is as insense and suspenseful listen I COULD NOT PUT DOWN and with it ending on aa disastrous cliffhanger I was so glad to have book three ready to go and jumped straight in!

Hot and captivating story
Awesome series! I read the first book and thought it was ok, but when listening the second book, I somehow got more emotionally invested with the characters. Five men with different personalities, strengths and demons. I loved them all, especially gentle Boar and Drake, who’s been through hell. The narration was good and the voices fit for the MC’s.
The story was hot, like always with K.A. Merikan, but I didn’t expect it to be so captivating. I was on the edge of my seat all the time and occasionally yealling to the MC’s to “watch out!” or “get out of there”! My family thinks I’m crazy…
This story is not for faint-hearted, that is for sure. And you need to prepare yourself to a heartbreaking cliffhanger. Better to have the third book already at hand when you’ve finished this one!

Amazing and so intense!
This series snuck up on me, and I’m so incredibly hooked. While MMM+ is not usually my cuppa, it’s so incredibly well done here. Clover has such a real, believable, and independent relationship with each of the men in his life that it’s obvious why they have this unique relationship. There is so much love, but there is so much heartache in this one too. It is not a happy tale, and it ends on such shaky ground; but I’m so in for the long haul and need to see a HEA for all the men. Wyatt Baker is a phenomenal narrator, gives each character a voice that completely fits that, and tells a compelling tale.

These books are pure smut :-)
Please make sure you have book three ready, or you will be infuriated (Warning) MMM++
Four Mercenaries, Tank, Pyro, Boar and Drake. These guys take on the jobs that others shy away from, and their main targets are child traffickers, the scum of the earth.
Clover seems to have made sure he's wanted by all of his protectors, each bringing something different to the table.
Such great characters, and I love how Clover adapts to his surroundings and knows how to persuade older men to get his way, let's just say daddy/boy. The sex is hot hot hot.
The narration was first class, great character voices, and it sold the story to me.
Plus, as always, hot sex scenes are throughout the book. Have I said that before... But sorry you don't get a HEA in this book.
