Hot erotica with great narration

I liked reading this book and was really excited to listen to the audio version too.
I thought the audio will make the book better, but it's still 'just' a 4star read for me. I like the story, the situation and the characters are interesting and the kink is so, so good! I wish there were more book out with this kink (male pregnancy).
The audio was good, I liked the voices, but they weren't as different as I'd like.
Good book, but something is missing for me.

Vane and Jaxson

It took me a while to get into the story, which was probably the direct nature of Deputy Mayor Vane Elwood.
Vane Elwood finds the Intern Jaxson attractive and doesn’t take much time to make an offer. Jaxson wants to make a quick career in the job and therefore agrees.
Vane Elwood’s style was a perfect match for that of a politician. I thought Jaxson was kind of cute, but he’s totally determined and knows what he wants.
But what happens when real feelings come into play? What if a jealous intern comes along with a blackmail attempt?

The longer I listened to the story, the better I liked it.
Vane Elwood has a strange kink, but you just have to get involved.

With the narrator Barney Parkwynne I had my difficulties at first, because he read me much too slowly and too monotonous. I raised the speed to 1. 35 and I was able to listen to him much better. I also found that his emphasis got better over the course of the audiobook.

The book is well written and the narrator’s presentation was quite passable.

Jaxson and Vane

I already had read this story and love it!
For me, Vane Elwood has a kink that I had never read before but it was so good. I really appreciate the kink and the book!
Both MC are great, and they complete each other and are amazing together!
Regarding the narratation, for me, Barney Parkwynne read a bit slowly so I raised the speed to 1.25 and I was able to listen to him much better.

Cant wait for Mark’s book!!!!

Scorching

This book is scorching hot. Not your usual kind of kink so it may not be everyone’s jam. The narration was rough. The narrator’s ‘s’ totally sounded like the basilisk in the Harry Potter movie. I bumped it up to 1.5-2.0 speed.

Wow

This was a first for me to listen to but wow was this well written and narrated. I loved meeting the main characters they were intriguing and certainly not what I was expecting. This was the first book I have listened to by this narrator however it certainly won’t be my last

It took me a while, but I ended up liking it.

It took me three attempts to actually get into this book. Start-stop, which is so unlike me.

I'm still not sure why that happened, but eventually, I managed to stay tuned into the audio and ended up liking this book.

After the first chapter was out of the way, I settled in and was not expecting this story, not having read the blurb, which is my norm. I go in without any preconceived ideas and never knew I was missing this kink in my life.

The two main characters are well written, along with the story. Enjoyed the story.

I was not too enamoured by the narrator and had to speed him up to 1.60 on Audible, which is way higher than usual.

Jason and Vane

Wow what a kink, loved it. Jaxson is sleeping his way to the top. From Intern to Deputy Mayor Vane Elwoods assistant, just by free sex, is a win win, until feelings become involved. Brilliantly written and we'll narrated

This was a new kink to me. I must confess I found it a little bizarre in the beginning however once the storyline progressed further I really enjoyed the dynamic of the relationship. With lovely characters and something new to me I found it very enjoyable.

Kinky

For some reason this was not what I expected but it was so good! Not like other kinks I've read but really clever! I love the intertwined world of New Gothenburg.

Dominance, drive and devotion would work for this story and its main characters (mostly). I liked that this is a book of passion and kink first and they happen to fall in love. The steamy times was often at the forefront but with unique and captivating underlying storylines it kept me engrossed to see how it all played out. I like that these characters didn't change who they are, they were strong and passionate throughout. A unique kinky read that I really enjoyed!!!

well what can I say about this book.

I wasn't expecting to listen to this kind of kink but it made me think that the world is very different. this is my first time listening to both narrator and author.
some of the narrator characters was strange. I was given this opportunity to listen to this book for free and review.
