Not a lot happens
While this book serves as a set-up for the next installment, I found myself struggling to connect with the main characters, both female and male. As a result, I felt that the pacing sometimes dragged, and I wished there had been more engagement in the storyline. It seems that the essence of the story could have been effectively captured within a single volume, as not every narrative needs a trilogy to unfold.

Fxxking Jade West
I have had a break from the book world and decided with the lockdown to get my head back into a good read and omg I'm glad I jumped into Jades hot steamy sext reads.... this keeps you on edge... waiting... wanting more... needing more... needing your pay day to come NOW!! Dark, twisted and unique.
I was not expecting this to be so interesting and unusual. This is not a fluffy love story. This is dark, sick, filthy and spicy. But did I love it? Absolutely! Check your TW though.

A little too dark for me
I do like a raunchy plot line but I found this a bit too far with this one. It felt very debasing in the way the female characters are portrayed and thought of by the male characters. It also really romanticised excessive sexual pain, which just feels like dangerous ground for me. Stopped listening about 3/4 of the way in.
