About this listen
A new dark romance from New York Times best-seller Anna Zaires.
He came to me in the night, a cruel, darkly handsome stranger from the most dangerous corners of Russia. He tormented me and destroyed me, ripping apart my world in his quest for vengeance.
Now he's back, but he's no longer after my secrets.
The man who stars in my nightmares wants me.

I totally loved the story. Excellent narration from both narrators. Getting book 2 now!!. So glad I waited for both books as i don't like cliff hangers. Dark romance indeed!!!

Obsessively Addictive
My first read by Anna Zaires was not a disappointment. A dark read following Peter Sokolov, a Russian intelligence agent who turns rogue following the death of his wife and child. Five years later, while still avenging his family’s death he comes across Sara Cobakis, and not in a nice romantic way - far from it. Peter cannot get Sara out of his mind and Sara, even though she knows it is so so wrong cannot stop thinking about her torturer in an inappropriate way, so when he forces his way back into her life she has to do everything in her power to do the right thing. I loved the writing, dual POV and lots of emotional drama and sexy time. I loved the characters, and I’m not sure what it says about me, but I completely understood and empathised with Sara. I’m loving dark reads at the moment and this is up there with the best of them. Beautifully narrated by Tracy Marks and Sebastian York, although I must say that Sebastian’s attempt at a Russian accent was not consistent. That aside, it did not affect my enjoyment of this audiobook.

Sebastian York is the highlight
Anna Zaires is the queen at writing dark romance. Twist me was the first book I had read of hers, and whilst utterly disturbing and like nothing I had ever read before, she hooked me. Lucas Kent from the Capture Me trilogy is one of my favourite book boyfriends. Sebastian york as the male narrator for this book lured me, he is awesome and Tormentor mine is no exception! If you like Anna's work then definitely give this a read. I'm not going to lie, I didn't feel this was the most powerful of love story, but it is a good book nonetheless.

Perfect suspend with a little dark
This is a perfect suspense book with a tusch off dark. Lots of steamy sex with a little kink. Not her darkest work, and I’m glad off that

Exciting read!
Peter Sokolov broke her to get the information he needed leaving tragedy in his wake. Now he's back and he wants her. Will she be able to resist this dark, sexy Russian. We first met Peter in the Twist Me series by Anna Zaires, where he was given a list of names of the men responsible for the massacre of his wife and son. This is his revenge. You won't want to miss this exciting read!

First of all the narration on this book.is excellent Tracey does a angst female really well and Sebs Russian delivery si oh so sexy
I was not aware it's not a standalone as I personally prefer to listen when I have the whole series so am looking forward to the next and keep my fingers crossed it's the same narrators.
This is my first listen of Anna Zaires and it won't be the last I can't map where this book is going to go so it has me intrigued

Liked this but not as much as Twist Me
Peter and Sara"s story was-for me-not as in tense as the others that came before. it still has a sexy anti-hero but Julian"s crown has not been dislodged!

tedious drama
Yeah yeah I get it she's conflicted, but the story keeps rehashing the same history and feelings. Seriously it was the first 3 chapters on repeat, however, well written.
I love Sebastian's narration, Tracey less so, just same phrasing which didn't help with the repetitive pattern of the book.
Cliffhanger yes but don't want to go through the female drama in another book. some say it's dark, but it played at dark, nothing challenging more, sinister Cinderella. This had great reviews but not for me.
