Summary
I met him on a beach, and he stole my heart. Then it turns out he's my professor. Will he choose his new career, or us? Caleb Allen
I play bass guitar in an ever-popular pop-punk band. I wasn't looking for love, but it found me anyways.
I was healing from the trauma of gun violence by vacationing with my best friends and bandmates.
Then he blows into my life, turns it upside down and gives me the safety and love I need. Problem is, he's about to be a professor in my college and relationships between students and faculty are prohibited. Are we really saying goodbye after everything we've shared?
Eric Moore
After years of hard work, I've finally become a professor. To celebrate my success and reset my life, I'm spending a month with the calming surf.
Then he shows up in the house next door and burrows into my heart.
Can I really let him go at the end of his vacation?
When we both go home, a change in class schedules means Caleb is now one of my students.
It's important enough to tell him in person before classes start. When I confront him, I can't say goodbye again and we start a secret relationship.
Can I keep the career of my dreams and hang on to the man I love?
Never Let It End is the third book in the Rock U series and is part of the Mesa Boys universe. This novel features an age gap, hurt/comfort, and a bad-boy rocker in love with his professor. It guarantees an HEA and has no cliffhangers. It features a level-headed student suffering from trauma, and a man who's trying to start a new life on the right path. Each book features a different couple and can be listened to as a standalone or as part of the series in order.

MM College age-gap romance
Wow, it's book three of the series, and I loved it.
We meet Caleb, part of the band, who is having traumatic nightmares from the shooting. While on holiday with the lads in Mexico, he meets his dream man.
After leaving work to pursue his dream job, Eric has a month's holiday in Mexico and meets his dream partner on the beach.
I found it to be well-written and thoroughly enjoyable. I listened overnight and couldn't put it down.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book/audio to anyone who enjoys a good romance novel.
The narration was good. Finnley Cole's clear and concise delivery made the listening experience enjoyable. I did speed up the narration to 1.15 on Audible, but this is normal for me.

Attention holder
Caleb is vacationing before the fall semester begins at college. He finds himself fascinated by the guy next door. Once they meet the attraction is strong and they spend the whole time together. This is supposed to be only a vacation thing but both find they feel something stronger.
Then they find out they are going to be at the same college with Eric being a professor and Caleb the student. A past issue causes Caleb major problems and any relationship between them is also an issue. The secondary characters added to this story and I wish I had heard the previous books and will go back and do so.
The narration by Finnley Cole really brought this story to life.

My favorite in the series
This book had me hooked! It’s my favorite in the series so far, I finished it in a day. Caleb and Eric were so likable and realistic. I really connected with them and was invested in their story. I was rooting for those two, I needed them to find a way to be together and I couldn’t stop listening until I found out how they managed to get their happily ever after. They had flaws and made mistakes but they grew and learned and the way they acted really made sense for their characters. I understood them, I felt for them.
They also had absolutely amazing chemistry, a perfect match.
I adored the narrator. Each character voice was very distinctive and matched Eric and Caleb perfectly. Great quality too.
I’m having a blast listening this series. I can’t wait for the next book.

A good listen
I’m enjoying the stories in this series and I love the narrator, Finnley Cole, so I was very much looking forward to listening to this story. I’ll be honest and say I struggled.
I loved Caleb and Eric. Caleb’s still dealing with the fallout of witnessing a shooting where his bandmate was injured. The band is taking a break and, for Caleb, that means meeting an older man who’s also visiting and living next door. From the beginning, it was clear to me that the conflict was going to be that Eric’s a new professor in the program where Caleb is a student. And that exact thing happened – Caleb wound up in Eric’s class and instead of speaking up immediately and doing the right thing, they did something that was clearly wrong and unfair to other students. Now, the other reviews I’ve read for this book loved it, so apparently, I’m the only one who felt really uncomfortable as I watched Eric and Caleb make bad decision after bad decision.
All that being said. I’m really enjoying these books. Eric and Caleb were clearly good for each other. Good against clear evil.
As I said, Finnley Cole is a great narrator and this is a good book. I’ve enjoyed the previous and I’m looking forward to the future stories as well.
