The Reckoning

A biblical scale armageddon, sparked by the horror of the conflict, ends the war and begins to consume the world. Demons rise and take possession of the slain. They hunt humanity, like an army of serial killers, exacting retribution for mankind’s sins. A disparate group of survivors - soldiers and civilians from all the warring nations - bands together and tries to find sanctuary, while their pasts come to life and force them to face the reckoning for their sins.

Good Friday. 1917. The end begins. Lieutenant David Durant and his band of survivors run for their lives, seeking the sanctuary of the fortress at Verdun. A hammer of retribution falls and sends them careening in different directions, running for their lives, running from themselves. Ensnared by the weight of their pasts, hunted by monsters in the form of men, they fight toward safety as the darkness consuming the world begins to capture and devour them one at a time.
