The Matty Iapen Series

Matty Iapen is an average guy working as a below-average bounty hunter and investigator in Cleveland. He’s probably the fourth or fifth call you make when you need to solve a mystery or if someone skips out on court. After Larry Elroy skipped bond on three murders, Matty Iapen and his colleagues are assigned to track him down and return him to court. But Matty gets caught up in a crime larger than a missed skip or a single murder.

Cleveland’s below-average bounty hunter and investigator Matty Iapen returns with his colleagues Mariah and Alison to take on a new case. Vegas, the city’s most expensive sex worker, accuses Maxamillion, the city’s richest man, of stealing her family’s diamond ring. Mariah, Matty, and Alison attempt to track down Vegas’ family ring for an impressive $2,000 each (which is a lot of money in Cleveland!)

Matty Iapen is the most average bounty hunter and investigator you could hire in Cleveland. He graduated college with a journalism degree only to find work chasing criminals and solving B-rate mysteries. Along with his colleagues Mariah and Alison, Matty will solve any mystery -- mainly because he needs to pay the bills.
