Oona Bramblegoop's Sideways Magic

Oona Bramblegoop is a Newbie fairy, and she’s determined to do big things, especially if they can impress her idol, the Tooth Fairy. There’s just one problem: Oona’s magic never goes quite how she planned. Oona’s protection spells work great, but only if you don’t mind getting a wedgie from a pair of magical underwear. And don’t even mention the smell disaster that resulted from her first fire spell . . . yikes!

Oona loves being the Underwear Fairy, which means she gets to distribute magical safety undies to keep human children from falling down and hurting themselves. But when she gets trapped in the human world by Marco, a boy who wants to take a photo of her to prove fairies are real, she’s horrified—don’t let humans see you is one of fairydom’s most important rules! Luckily, her cousin Horace and best friend Lucy (also known as the Tooth Fairy) help her get free. But then things get even more disastrous—Marco follows them back up to Blackberry Bog!

Underwear Fairy, Oona Brambelgoop, and her friends Horace and Lucy (the Tooth Fairy) are trying their hardest to prove they are responsible citizens of Fairydom, and catching the culprit of the great glitterberry warehouse theft is the perfect way to do it. But when the leprechaun gold Lucy has given kids for their teeth also goes missing AND she starts to lose her magic, the friends realize this must be about more than just berries. It turns out Lucy has been manipulating magic to get more gold and the leprechauns are not happy.

As a newly minted member of the Fairy Council, Oona Brambelgoop is busy doing important fairy business in preparation for the yearly Unicorn Reunion. Molly, the head of the Fairy Council, wants each and every fairy to have their best foot forward, and Oona is only too happy to help by filling the Fairy Binder with new rules, each a bit sillier than the last. But then Oona’s friends reveal that they don’t agree with the work she is so proud of, and she learns all the new rules have caused a catastrophe—one that threatens the delicate protections that keep Blackberry Bog hidden from human eyes.
