Summary

Join Nero Wolfe, everyone's favorite armchair detective, on his adventures in one of the most exciting and influential mystery series of the 20th century.

Nero Wolfe is a man of class and refined taste. He resides in a luxurious brownstone on West 35th Street in New York City, where he employs a live-in staff: his gourmet chef, his orchid nurse, and his trusted assistant, Archie Goodwin. Along with enjoying sumptuous meals, tending to his greenhouse full of orchids, and reading books, he takes great pleasure in solving crimes—from the comfort of his own chair.

Thanks to the legwork of Archie Goodwin, his right-hand man and narrator of the mysteries, Wolfe doesn't need to leave his brownstone to follow leads, track down clues, help others, or serve justice. He uses his high IQ and powers of deduction to solve the toughest cases that come his way, like missing heirs and malicious murders. Nothing gets by the gourmet gumshoe!

The larger-than-life, arrogant, and brilliant detective was created by Rex Stout in 1934. Along with his dapper, loyal assistant, Archie Goodwin, Nero Wolfe appeared in 33 novels and about 40 novellas between 1934 and 1975. Stout was honored with the Mystery Writers of America's Grand Master Award, and his Nero Wolfe series has been touted as one of the best mystery series of the 20th century.

All 46 of the audiobooks in the original Nero Wolfe series are narrated by the esteemed actor Michael Prichard, providing a consistent voice for fans of the great armchair detective. Prichard has lent his smooth baritone and impressive talents to more than 500 audiobooks, including works by Tom Clancy, Don DeLillo, and Tom Wolfe.
