Bizarre Blades

Finn Featherstone, once a puny outcast, is now a Champion in training. Resting in the baldric across his back is none other than Jigsaw, a magical weapon with untold possibilities. This odd instrument of power is one of the hundreds of swords known as Bizarre Blades, a unique and priceless weapon that Kings have sold their Kingdoms just to obtain. Having been stranded in the freezing woods of Shimoshimo, Finn trains hard day in and day out while trying to survive in the deadly weather.

Finn Featherstone longs to trade in his paintbrush for a legendary Bizarre Blade. One day, after heroically rescuing a young girl, he is shocked to learn he is being drafted as a foot soldier. A few days later the army caravan he marches with is attacked by a pack of saber-toothed tigers. While trying to survive, Finn finds himself crashing through the ice where he mistakenly discovers a magical Blade of his very own. Introduced to a world of Champions jealous of his random find, Finn struggles to master his sword’s sludge-spitting bad attitude.

Finn Featherstone never thought that owning a Bizarre Blade would cause this much trouble. After barely controlling his stubborn weapon long enough to rescue his fellow Champions, he’s unsure if his dream of glory is worth the challenge. But when a tyrannical king vows to hunt the hero down, Finn never imagined the enemy would kidnap his father.

Finn Featherstone has transformed from a scrawny nobody to rising hero. But unlocking the true strength of his Jigsaw Blade and winning the heart of the beautiful Ariel hasn’t delivered joy. Especially after his father’s murder and the massacre of an entire kingdom by the dark sorcerer who just so happens to be his sweetheart’s next of kin. As scourge-ridden monstrosities threaten the land, Finn must slice his way through a massive army to break the sinister Plague Blade. With contaminated monsters closing in on all sides, he’s running out of time to master his bright weapon.

A dying Hex Hunter has the last laugh by transporting Ariel away from her friends using his Void Whip. Jade, in white hot anger, shoves his Phantom Blade into the man’s heart, killing him as well as losing any hopes of finding where the horrid Hex Hunter sent their Champion ally. Soon, Finn finds himself once again in the presence of the Romantic Rogues who have called upon him and Jade to fulfill the debt that is owed to them.

The Featherstone Omen comes true, but who knew it would come with such terrible and heart wrenching sacrifice? From painter to Champion, Finn makes his final push to save the ones he loves as well as the entire world. Armed with the knowledge that the one responsible for the soon to be apocalypse lies deep beneath their feet, Finn and his fellow adventurers must seek a way to enter this god-like being's dominion. However, the tremors that now shake the world with incredible power are becoming more and more frequent which will make the journey much more dangerous.
