A Katey Frost Cozy Mystery Series

The week before Christmas is typically a flurry of gift searching, shopping, and wrapping, but newly retired teacher, Katey Frost, did not expect to search for a missing little girl instead. She arrives in the small county of Snow Dove Hill, where the wealthiest and most spoiled members of the small town of Pine Falls reside. Because of the recent case she helped solve, Katey has been asked to assist the Chief of Police, Patrick O’Neil, a by-the-book type cop, as he meets the parents of the missing girl.

Chief of Police, Patrick ONeil, a by-the-book type cop, has been handed an open and shut murder case. A 12-year-old mentally disabled boy has confessed to the murder of his stepfather. However, Chief Patrick believes that there is more to the case than meets the eye. He believes the boy has been framed, contrary to what the folks in town say, except for Katey who is the only one who believes him.

Katey loves living in the small town of Pine Falls, and just as she thought that she could finally settle into her retirement and run her little coffee shop, she has been called back to Detroit. A former colleague whom Katey saved from a student who once tried to murder her, resurfaces seeking revenge. Despite his supposed death in prison, a recent death of a girl has a note found on her body addressed to Katey.
