"Pulgarcito" de Charles Perrault es un cuento clásico que sigue las aventuras de un niño diminuto con un ingenio sorprendente. Pulgarcito, el menor de siete hermanos, es el más pequeño pero también el más astuto. Cuando su familia cae en desgracia y se ven obligados a abandonarlo en el bosque, Pulgarcito no se rinde. Utilizando su ingenio y valentía, enfrenta una serie de desafíos, incluidos encuentros con un ogro hambriento y un rey codicioso.

Also, Bluebeard, as he was forever known, had been married several times before but no one knew what became of all his wives. Nevertheless, he manages to woo young Fatima, who only discovers after they are married the fate of his previous wives and that she faces the same fate. This is the classic tale by Charles Perrault, retold masterfully by Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch.

In un villaggio vicino al bosco viveva una bambina vivace e curiosa, che si chiamava Cappuccetto Rosso. Un giorno la mamma le chiese di portare un cestino di vivande alla nonna, raccomandandole di non fermarsi nel bosco, per evitare di imbattersi in un ferocissimo lupo. Cappuccetto Rosso le disobbedì e nel bosco si divertì a cantare e danzare con gli animali fino a sera. Quindi riprese il cammino verso casa della nonna. Lungo il percorso incontrò il lupo, che le chiese dove si stesse recando. La bambina gli rispose e la belva progettò di divorare non una, ma ben due prede.

"Blue beard" (French: "La Barbe bleue") is a very famous classic fairy tale written by Charles Perrault. Bluebeard is a wealthy aristocrat, feared and shunned because of his ugly, blue beard. He has been married several times, but no one knows what became of his wives. He is therefore avoided by the local girls. When Bluebeard visits one of his neighbours and asks to marry one of his two daughters, the girls are terrified, and each tries to pass him on to the other. Eventually he talks the younger daughter into visiting him, and after hosting a wonderful banquet, he persuades her to marry him.
