She and fiancé Sinclair (and their cats, Spider and Sugar) have moved back to the North Pole, they’re firmly entrenched in planning their wedding. Sinclair suggests calling a friend to help, the ever-resourceful Birdie Caruthers. Not long after she arrives, however, the trio discovers the most terrible thing in the wedding carriage.

Jayne Frost and husband Sinclair Crowe are off on another adventure, this time to Nashville, a.k.a. Music City, to pay a royal visit to one of the Santa’s Workshops toy stores. Once that’s done, they’ll have a little time to sightsee and play tourist. Which they do. Until something rather peculiar happens in the Country Music Hall of Fame that leaves Sinclair feeling all shook up.

Isabel Winstead has found acceptance and excitement in the hidden alien community growing in Nocturne Falls, where werewolves and gargoyles and witches live in plain sight. Half-vampire, half-sorcerer Viktor Hart revels in his bachelorhood. He adores his family, is a respected craftsman, drives a fast car and hangs out every night at Insomnia with his buddies.

In the final showdown between the forces of dark and light, Mal and Chrysabelle face not only Tatiana but the ancient evil that now controls her: the Castus Sanguis. Chrysabelle gathers her friends and family around her, forming a plan to bring an end to the chaos surrounding them. But the Castus is the most powerful being they've ever come up against. Defeating such evil will require a great sacrifice from someone on the side of light.
