E&E Team Cinderella is back in action, this time with robot assassin Esmeralda competently in charge. She's aided by her own team and Wally Lawson's latest creation: Stanley, another robot on his first mission. While locked up in a special prison designed for political inmates, Allison is informed there is a conspiracy involving the highest levels of government that is designed to strip America of its sovereignty and its people of their rights. A small group of conspirators are working as double agents, trying to stop the tragedies that will be used to bring about their goals. Allison is spirited away from the prison and sent secretly to Noah, where she gives him the orders he never thought he would receive: to assassinate American elected officials, including the president of the US.

Noah and the team are called up for a new mission, but it almost seems like history repeating itself. This time, Jenny is forced to take on the role of a known female assassin in order to expose the terrorist organization behind her. The plan takes them to a few different locales, and puts all of them in danger. The first contract she is given is for a high-ranking British official, but that turns out to have been only a test. The real contract comes afterward, and the entire team is shocked when they learn who the target is.

There is a time bomb ticking down toward a global extinction event. The bomb has a name, and everybody knows where it is. In fact, people pay to go and see it, and have picnics around it. It’s called the Yellowstone Caldera, and when it next blows it will probably take out mankind.

When a leading international financier is murdered in his Beverly Hills mansion, at first it looks like just another daemon at work in the City of Angels. But when the ritual nature of the killing emerges, the FBI takes an interest. Just back from their honeymoon, Noah and Sarah, and the rest of Team Camelot, are called up for a new mission, but this one is different from anything they've done before. Noah will be infiltrating a domestic organized crime ring in the South, with Sarah as his wife and Neil as her computer nerd little brother. Marco will come in a little later, and it will be up to Noah to find a way to recruit him into the organization.

"Mr. Prichard," the note said, "the people you see in the photos will be killed within the next 48 hours, unless you stop me. I have been following your exploits closely, and I think that you are the one I need to make sure I stop doing this. I've been trying for more than 15 years to kick this habit, but I can't. Normally, I don't strike so many times so close together, but in order to get you interested, I'm going to up the odds. I need you to do only two things: discover who each of my victims is, and then do all you can to stop me before I can kill each one.

Noah and Allison have sent out two teams on two different missions, but both of them run into trouble when it comes time to act. Soon, it becomes obvious that neither of them was what they seemed to be, and that someone is trying to track down E&E for reasons of their own. When one of the teams goes missing just as someone breaches security at the factory, Noah decides to send himself back into the field, but he's going with the full knowledge that he might be on a suicide mission. Is this the end of Camelot?

Sam and his new team are drawn into a convoluted conspiracy, a plot for one company to take over another, which begins with the attempted murder of an innocent boy. When Sam learns that a powerful, professional assassin is running the operation, he decides to pull out all the stops. Unfortunately, Beauregard has warned him to be careful on this case. The old Civil War ghost, who may or may not exist, tells Sam to be careful not to arrest the wrong person—and that Death is stalking one of his team.

As the new head of E & E, Noah has to make decisions that would terrify most people. Fortunately, his lack of emotion makes him the ideal man for the job, and his teams rapidly come to respect him as he takes over from the infamous Dragon Lady. But now, with a new trade war rocking world leaders and megacorporations gearing up to wage some combat of their own, Noah has to put together a team that can not only eliminate those who threaten the world, but also bring some order to it.
