Bald ist Weihnachten! Max freut sich darauf, wie jedes Jahr Plätzchen zu backen, Geschenke zu basteln und den Tannenbaum auszusuchen. Doch dann müssen Mama und Papa plötzlich weg und Oma und Opa übernehmen für eine Woche das Kommando. Endlich hat Max es geschafft: Er bekommt den gelb-weißen Gürtel im Judo. Dass man Judo nicht außerhalb der Matte anwenden soll, weiß Max. Und trotzdem muss er einen Weg finden, es Ben und Timo heimzuzahlen, die seinen Freund Nico ärgern. Typisch Max: Er findet eine faire Lösung und zeigt den Viertklässlern, dass es keinen Grund gibt, den Mund so voll zu nehmen.
