Story
Sh!t Talk Reviews is a group of friends that shit talk each other and help lovers of rock, metal, punk and hardcore music discover present day noise that is actually worth the time to listen to.As a rule, the shit talking is kept between the three jokers doing the reviews and is not directed at the artists who are reviewed. Is this a podcast for the kiddos? Eh, there's some foul language and shots are routinely fired between the hosts, so perhaps not. (On the other hand, the kids these days are probably exposed to worse than these three buffoons, so you be the judge...)Be sure to check out the...

Story
A Stranger’s Story is based on one of the many intriguing, sometimes heartwarming and sometimes not, but always emotionally rich memories of John J.J. Batiste, Sr. He was born in New Iberia, Louisiana, in 1913 to father Eraste and mother Elizabeth. This story takes place circa 1942 when John was traveling to Vancouver, Washington, to start a job in the shipyards in support of the war efforts. It reveals John’s faith, his efforts to share it to support a stranger, and that stranger’s demonstration of what is meant by free will.

Story
Political turmoil surrounding immigration at the federal level and the inability of Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform have provided an opening for state and local governments to become more active in setting their own immigration-related policies. States largely dictate the resources, institutions, and opportunities immigrants can access: who can get a driver’s license or attend a state university, what languages are spoken in schools and public offices, how law enforcement interacts with the public, and even what schools teach students about history.

Story
Does your financial adviser tell you to hold on and never sell? That markets recover in the long run? Does your adviser seem to always have an optimistic disposition? Do they tell you not to worry, no matter what is going on in the outside world? In Bullshift, John J. De Goey explores the hidden relationship between bias and financial markets. He makes clear that investors and financial advisers are not the rational decision makers that economic theory assumes them to be, and that “tried and true” investment advice is not always sound.

Story
“Ok, Boomer!” “Lazy Millennials!” In today’s social environment, our generational differences seem to be highlighted in every conversation. Are we truly defined by the generational tribalism we see today? Or can we find common ground and learn a thing or two from opposing generations? Generational Curse is a conversation, not a battle, between John (Gen X) and Terrance (Millennial), where they discuss various topics from the ideological lenses of their generations.
