Hinduism is the oldest and the third largest religion by population. There are more than a billion Hindus in India, Nepal, Indonesia (Bali), Mauritius, Canada, New Zealand, Kenya, and elsewhere in the world who practice the faith. However, many scholars and practitioners believe that Hinduism is not a religion at all - it is a way of life, as Hinduism explains the purpose of human life, what you should and shouldn't do, how you should behave with others, and how you should carry out your duties and responsibilities.

Your happiness does not depend on any teacher, guru, or religion. Often you see mantras as separate practices from magick. It is my goal through my books to make mantras a mainstay in the western occult traditions. There is no reason they shouldn't be. After all, any occultist worth their salt will be aware that occult powers can be gleaned from many different traditions and that to be well rounded in other methods makes for a powerful practice.

श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता हिन्दू धर्म ग्रन्थों में आत्म विद्या के गूढ़ तत्वों को स्पष्ट रीति से समझाने वाला ऐसा अद्भुत ग्रन्थ है, जिसकी तुलना का दूसरा कोई ग्रन्थ संसार भर में नहीं मिल सकता । अर्जुन की कर्तव्य मूढ़ता की दूर करने के लिए श्रीकृष्ण ने जो उपदेश दिया था, उसी के आधार पर व्यासजी ने उस रहस्य का प्रतिपादन श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता में किया है और उसी का अनुवाद एवं टीका श्री बालगंगाधर तिलक ने अपनी मण्डाले जेलयात्रा के दौरान श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता रहस्य अथवा कर्मयोग शास्त्र नाम से की, पुस्तक के अन्त में श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता के मूल श्लोक के हिन्दी अनुवाद भी है दिये गये हैं, ताकि श्रोता गीता के श्लोक भी समझ सकें।

The distinction between the Hindus and Untouchables in its original form, before the advent of Untouchability, was the distinction between Tribesmen and Broken Men from alien Tribes. It is the Broken Men who subsequently came to be treated as Untouchables. In searching for the origin of Untouchability care must be taken to distinguish the Untouchables from the Impure. All orthodox Hindu writers have identified the Impure with the Untouchables. This is an error. Untouchables are distinct from the Impure.

सत्ययुग में भगवान विष्णु के डर से बचने के लिए सारे राक्षस रसातल में जा छुपे थे. ऋषि पुलत्स्य और केकसी के बड़े बेटे दशानन को लंका पर अपना अधिकार जमाना था. उसे देवताओं से राक्षसों की हार का बदला लेना था, और धरती पर से भगवान विष्णु का नामोनिशान मिटा देना था. अपने इस मकसद को पूरा करने के लिए, वो ब्रह्मा से वरदान पाने के लिए वह घोर तपस्या कर रहा था.

राम धनुष्य को तोड़ पण जीतता हैं और राम-सीता की विवाह होती है. बारात बाजे गाजे के साथ अयोध्या आती हैं. और रावण अपने गर्वहरण के बाद अब कौन सा नया खेल रचेगा?

महर्षि विश्वामित्र राम को दिव्यास्त्र देते हैं. उनके आश्रम में सुबाहु और मारीच का सामना राम और लक्ष्मण से होता हैं. वही मिथिला नरेश जनक को अपने बेटी सीता के स्वयंवर की चिंता सताये जा रही हैं, क्या रावण को स्वयम्वर में बुलाना चाहिए या नही?

राम के अंगूठे के स्पर्श से शिला बनी अहिल्या का उध्दार होता हैं. वही मिथिला से दूर पंचवटी में बैठी शूर्पणखा रावण से प्रतिशोध लेने की योजना बना रही हैं.

ऋषशृंग मुनि के परामर्श से अयोध्या के महाराज दशरथ को राम, लक्ष्मण, भरत और शत्रुघ्न चार पुत्रों की प्राप्ति हुई. वही रावण के यहाँ मंदोदरी ने मेघनाद को जन्म दिया, जिसका आवाज मेघो के समान भयंकर था. मिथिला में भुमिकन्या सीता धीरे धीरे बड़ी हो रही थी.

राम लक्ष्मण मिथिला घुमने निकलते हैं, सीता अपने सखियों के साथ देवी के मंदिर में पूजा करने निकलती हैं. राम और सीता की भेंट होती हैं. अगले दिन स्वयम्वर के लिए महाराज जनक पण की घोषणा करते हैं.
