Così si esprime Sade sul finire del Settecento, quando i "lumi" della Ragione stavano cedendo il posto alle "lanterne" del Terrore. Si potrà concordare o no con il Divin Marchese, ma la lussuria, più che un peccato, appare come una forza debordante della natura. La lussuria non è solo manifestazione di eros, creatività artistica, e magari piacere della scoperta scientifica.

Friedrich Nietzsche gehört zu den wichtigsten deutschen Philosophen und wird bis heute stark diskutiert. Den meisten ist sein Streben nach der "Umwertung der Werte" ein Begriff.
