W wolnym czasie prowadzi blog kulinarny, tytułową „Zupę z gwoździa”, i fascynuje się małpami z Borneo – nosaczami. Od dwudziestu lat jest w związku małżeńskim z Marysią. Ich życie jest przepełnione rutyną, marazmem i frustracją.
