Sammy and her friends are startled when they interrupt what seems to be an attempted murder on Halloween. While trick-or-treating at a spooky old, house, they find the door open, and inside a man is tied to a chair while a fire rages on the floor. A robbery? But what valuable could be missing from the home of a reclusive old man?

Traveling from Shriekport, Maine, the gang heads to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, California, picking up some hair-raising new friends along the way. Get in, Medusa!! The friends set off to confront the evil villain, Doctor Gargo, who has unleashed reanimated monsters from Grandpa's basement throughout the country. Along their journey, they encounter a terrifying series of monsters, including the Hoboken Werewolf, a tornado with a face, and even a giant Space Blob!

What's the best day for an alien invasion? Halloween, of course. When Eek and Ack visit Earth during the ghoulish holiday, they fit right in with the other trick-or-treaters. Unfortunately, so does Wolfy the Wolfman! Now, the terrible twosome must fight off this frightful furball or fail to conquer Earth once again.
