Desde que Homero contó las venturas y desventuras de Ulises, la humanidad conoce dos metáforas sobre la vida del hombre y su destino: el viaje y el mar, ese espacio mágico donde todo puede ocurrir. En esta ocasión, Javier Alonso plantea una adaptación en prosa del poema clásico de Homero, donde se altera la estructura de éste y se cuenta la historia cronológicamente, pero sin alterar un ápice el sentido épico y profundo del original.

This novel, composed of endearing characters - with the sea as the ubiquitous protagonist throughout the story, with adventures and misadventures, dangers, and beautiful landscapes - has the protagonists of this story looking for a new opportunity, finding themselves again, maturing, understanding each other better, and even falling in love.
