When Glinda informs Ozma, the ruler of Oz, that there is trouble brewing between two distant lands in Oz, Ozma decides to take Dorothy along with her and try to put an end to the problems. Ozma and Dorothy travel first to the land of the Flatheads, where they encounter the evil dictator Su-Dic and are forced to discover they will not be able to make Su-Dic want peace. They then move on to the land of the Skeezers, whose evil queen Coo-ee-ooh is unwilling to make peace as Su-Dic.

Dorothy Gale, on a voyage at sea, is tossed overboard during a storm. She is washed ashore at Ev, a country neighboring Oz, where she meets up with her old friends the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, and meets Ozma, the new Princess of Oz.

When Abby - plus her three best friends - land in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, they are ready to follow the Yellow Brick Road to find their way back home. But they'll have to acquire some brains, heart, and courage along the way to avoid the Wicked Witch of the West...and will they get to meet Dorothy?

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz follows Kansas farmgirl Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto as a violent cyclone transports them to a faraway magical place called Oz, land of the Munchkins and witches. To make it home, Dorothy dons her famous slippers and must follow the Yellow Brick Road to seek help from the Great Wizard in the Emerald City. Soon she is joined by the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion, each on his own unique quest for a better self.

Glinda and Dorothy travel to an obscure corner of Oz to prevent a war between the Skeezers and the Flatheads. When the Skeezers imprison them on a glass-covered island at the bottom of a lake, Glinda and Dorothy must call upon their magical friends to rescue them. The last of the original Oz books written by L. Frank Baum, this story was dedicated to his son, Robert.

While Glinda searches far and wide for her mentor, the fiery-spirited Locasta finds herself undertaking an equally important search - for the Elemental Fairy of Lurl, and the means by which to destroy the second Witch, Marada, Wicked Warrior of the North. Surprising discoveries await both Glinda and Locasta.

On her Declaration Day, a day meant for celebration and happiness, Glinda’s peaceful life in Oz is shattered when her mother is imprisoned for practicing forbidden Magic.
