When Kit rescues a wealthy witch from the treacherous, monster-filled waters of the River Tweed, she reckons she's completed her fair share of good deeds for the day. But when a second anonymous body is pulled from the same river, Kit is dragged into a mystery as murky as the water itself. The corpse has no identification, no personal possessions and no one who cares. Kit is determined to change that.

All I was doing, was heading home when I saw this girl, being held at gunpoint. I've lived more than a millennia and I've noticed that humans have become nastier; hence, not interested in a destined relationship with them...but, when I see this young battered girl, being held at gunpoint, I can't seem to help myself; something about her, screams 'help me'. I'm a space demon, and with that I have the ability to reverse time...we don't of course; we do have the ability to go back in time however, and something tells me, this girl needs to search her past, to look forward to the future.

No one ever told me that dragons shift into handsome, naked men. Nor did they tell me to avoid dragon magic. And so, now, I've made the greatest mistake of my life. I alone carry the hope of the entire dragon race within me. I can save them, or destroy them. Saving them makes sense. But what if the only way I can is to sacrifice myself? I'm not sure I can do it, but I'm also not sure they'll let me refuse...
