An illusionist goes to Spain with a friend. His friend informs him of a person pretending to be Emanuel (another friend). The mysterious impostor is holding the real Emanuel hostage. The imposter sends letters with secret codes to the illusionist, giving clues where to find Emanuel. The illusionist and his friend have no idea who the imposter is, so they go to the place the imposter told them to find Emanuel. But on the way, they meet a mysterious boy whose mother is dead and father is lost (or dead…no one knows).
