The Little Book, Jody Bill is a story about a young penguin that wants to fly south for the winter just like all the other birds do. As hard as Jody tries to fly, he just can't get off the ground. He asks this question, "Why can't I fly? I have wings and feathers just like all the other birds." Jody then seeks the wisdom of his mother. Mrs. Bill says to Jody that he should be patient and wait a year. Being patient is very hard for most of us. One year seems like forever, but all of Jody's love, caring, kindness, and patience will be worth it.

It was a memorable day for Ruby Red, Celinda Blue, Dazzling Yellow, Dr. Brown, Wendy White, Vernie Green, Tangie Orange, Coach Violet, and the determination of Benji Black when he signed up for a roller-blading contest. The crayons in Rainbow Land ended the day with a special crayon tree.
