Welcome to The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes the podcast. We are recreating the original Sherlock Holmes Radio Show for the new generation using the stories that where already written and recorded for radio over 75 years ago, as well as new episodes, and episodes written by fans of the great detective! The show stars James Bauer as the Announcer (taking over for Harry Bartel), Tom Reed as Dr. Watson (taking over for Nigel Bruce), and Aaron Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes (taking over for Basil Rathbone).

This primal man has been triumphantly transported back to England as proof of the missing link in evolutionary theory. The upcoming auction of the specimen causes a stir amongst academics and the board of the British Museum.

America's first African American heavyweight boxing champion, Jack Johnson, has a chance encounter with a mysterious Irishman, named Altamont, when they meet at the boxer's restaurant, Café de Champion, in August 1912. Johnson's new relationship with the unusual man, with beady eyes and hawk-like nose, places him in an unusual circumstance to help Altamont get out of a tough situation.
