Time travel, the power sought after and craved by everyone, yet held by none. Until now. Icarus, the cavalier Irish Paladin from the future, has single-handedly derailed Jericho’s Crusade, murdered thousands of people, stolen the life of one of his closest friends, and brought the world to the brink of destruction.

The future is now. During the mid-1980s, time travel was discovered, and future generations have grown up with both the ability and advantage of traversing time. Traveling is managed by Chronociti, the corporation established by Dr. Luther Thorsen, the physicist who discovered time travel. Using their Prism teams, Chronociti maintains order, ensuring no one disturbs the current Earth timeline or abuses the privilege of time travel.

Eighteen-year-old Germanic princess Cassius witnessed the destruction of her village by the Romans. Now, she is being made to serve a Roman senator as his slave. During the Battle of Teutoburg Forest in 9 AD, Cassius is forcefully abducted again, but this time by an unknown soldier named Sgt. Banks. Banks tells her that she is the key to his mission, which is to stop the death of millions. And even though Banks has the build and abilities of a Roman soldier, he is not a centurion. In fact, he is not a soldier of her time at all.
